As the Commissioner of the USBA, I do not initiate trade talks for my team and I do not counter-offer when deals are offered to me by other teams. I just say "yes" or "no".
It takes away any perception that I am trying to work over another team owner or grind out a deal that would favor me.

During off season free agency, I make no offers during the first signing period.
