GM Notes: Augusto Rodriquez will return next week and I believe I am going to activate him and place him in the starting lineup. Javier Janchez has struggled in 41 games, hitting .172-2-13. Looks like he could use some time getting his swing worked out in the minors. I had high hopes for him this year, but maybe I rushed him... I wouldn't of guessed Arturo Ramirez and Shawn Brock would be leading our staff with 7-1 records. I am pleasantly surprised... Ed Duke is off to a nice start. After hitting .223 last season he is hitting .380 in his first 34 games this season. Maybe Jose Renteria has been a nice mentor for him... The team is doing well, we are healthy (knock on wood) and things seems to be falling into place. The draft is coming up next week, should be an interesting time, since I never seem to be a good "drafter", a look through my/our draft history should be interesting.

Dalton Whitaker is hold over from my original pitching staff in 2013. He is the only pitcher who has been on the Cavaliers roster since 2013, when he pitched in 46 games. He has since pitched in 357 games, amassing 113 saves.

Two players of note 1) Richard O'Quinn who is with our AAA team, saw 2 games of action in 2013, but hasn't been on the Cav's roster since. 2) Arturo Ramirez was our first round draft pick in the amateur draft in 2013.
