GM Notes: After a rough start, losing 3 games to one of the worse teams in the league, they were 6-24 when we got there, we finished off strong. The offense woke up, our ace threw a good game. And some how we even gained a game in the standings... You have to love predictions. Kent Davis is hitting .480 71-148 in 34 games. He is on pace to have 311 hits on the season. Not bad 34 games into the season... The more I think about moving Derek Campbell the more I think its a good idea, whats the problem you ask? Well Javier Janchez is only hitting .188. Maybe Byung-Hyun Chong can come up and fill the void. Campbell drove in 150 runs last year, but I am pretty sure he will never approach that number again. We have one of the best offenses in the game, I think we can sacrifice .262-5-24. Something to ponder on. He is probably worth more now @ 27 yrs old and with another year of control. Hmm... I am still not sold that Miguel is back to form. He will get another start next week against a better team (Richmond Cardinals), should give us more information.
