However, I want to reboot the league with two levels of minors instead of a reserve list, and I'd like to re-start the season because I lost one game result to a crash and another to a power outage at my house.

Is there any way to keep or export all the current players, teams, rosters, and player Facegens from the test league but use them for a new league while still being able to set up the two levels of minors and populate the minors with additional fictional players or through a special amateur draft at the start of the new game?
I think the easiest way to accomplish what you want to do is to add what you want now and then save it as a template. Make a copy of your saved game now so you can transfer your images over later.
The reason for making it a template is that it's the only way you'll be able to start anew at the beginning of the year.
Once you've got the template created, you'll need to start a new fictional lg. with just one team, then delete it and all the players.
Now use the purge tool to cleanup up everything then add in your template.
Templates won't save your graphics, so you'll have to copy those over from the copy of your original saved game. You may or may not need to also copy over some of the .dat files as well (parks.dat if you didn't create the .prk files when you set up your ballparks, faces.dat, etc.)
That should do it..
There are many ways to do things in ootp and there are other ways to do what you want This is just how I would do it and it's how I created my 2013 MLB to start on Jan. 1 2013 with full NCAA feeder.
