To adress the issue:

Do yourself a favor and let the AI make those decisions. It was a poorly implemented "bell & whistle" that does not work well....nor is it fun. Moreover, this kind of visual decision does not translate well to text.

I understand that this does not address your exact question but it is the best answer that you will get as it pertians to this issue.
