Budweiser and Ozzie Smith (yes that Ozzie Smith) started a petition to make Opening Day a national holiday. So far the petition has just over 56,000 signatures, but it still needs 44,000 more!

Didn't the deportation of Beiber have over 300,000 signatures? What did Obama do? BO is a fake baseball fan so unlikely he will make it a national holiday. GWB might have since he owned the Rangers.
