Ian, I can say with 100% assurance that your Dad never wore the White Sox powder blue road uniforms with red caps and lettering at Yankee Stadium.
He was traded by the Orioles on June 15th, 1975, while Yankee Stadium was still being refurbished and the Yanks were playing at Shea. When the Stadium reopened in April, 1976, the Sox were wearing the "1910 Style" dark blues with, at first, white caps with blue bills, and then all-blue caps.
I photographed the Sox in both the white and blue caps in '76. You saw the blue-cap shot of your father that I posted several months ago. I don't think I got a shot of him in the white caps.
However, as should be evident by now, while digging out the old photos that produced Ken Holtzman and Joe Simpson (above) - voila! Two more Pirates shots! Not very good photographs on any artistic scale, but under the circumstances I suspect it'll do the trick for you!
