My owner was outraged so I was thinking that I was going to be fired, so I started simming one day at a time and suddenly my team started hitting. I am now 4 games over .500, my average has crept to around the .250 range and I am at about the 58 games played mark. Anyone see this. I know it isn't a large sample size, but I found it very curious that as soon as I stopped playing the games, everything changed.

Coincidence. I think most would agree that actually playing out games is advantage human. The AI in OOTP is good but it still makes in-game decisions that humans might dispute.
Now it could be that you are just a lousy manager, but we don't want to go there right now.
