Agree. The BP has usually been the Cats' weakest link over the past 2 decades, so I hope this year it will be a bit different. With all of Ausmus's time in the Bigs as a catcher, coupled with Jeff Jones's savvy, maybe this can turn out to be a strength. Solid relief pitchers are few and far in-between... and pricey to boot.
If nothing else, at least Nathan will give Rondon a little more time to develop. I do wish, however, that they had kept Benoit for insurance, but we'll see what happens. This bunch just might surprise us... even with the presence of certain left-handers Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken, least I burst a blood vessel or two.
