This is a time when WAR actually would be out to good use along with FIP perhaps. i focus more on pitching during the deadball era vs offense. On my White Sox during that time I only had 2 guys hit over .330 the rest were in the .280-.290 range but non of my SP had more BB then K and i had the best defensive C in that era.
Interested to see what others say.
