There are a number of guys I would like to try out in ST that are not on my 40. Guys who are on my short list for possible call ups incase there was a injury. Also new FA's that I have on minor league deals that could potential replace someone on my 40.
Guys who rely on stats as well as ratings could see this as an helpful feature. Stats are heavily favored in my AI evaluation so I don't set my 40 man purely on ratings.
