I noticed in his screenshot that he's in commish mode, and that immediately made me wonder if that might be why online players haven't reported this bug sooner. Just me trying to connect dots that may have no connection at all.

Not just online methinks. Most solo players would not use commish setting unless it was for a specific purpose. Maybe I'm wrong.
