The Latin Sultan of Swat

I love the random appearance of generational players.

Ruben Batista

I drafted this 17 year-old RF with the 12th pick.
Using 20-80 scale. He had 60-60 potential, cont and pow. By the next season his potential was 80-80. I gave him one full minor league season and brought him up in September. The following year as a 19 year-old rookie he hit .334 with 42 HR's
Second year, .367 with 68 HR's

He was as an All-Star into his 40's. He played mostly DH to keep his bat in every game and was never injured.

He hit .400 3 times with a high of .426
Hit 1,000 HR's in his career
Had over 5,000 hits
and won MVP like 15 times.

I've had many stars but nothing like him.
