Nope, I like my PbP to simply tell me what's going on in the game. I even get irked at the occasional "random trivia" bits like how a player's grandmother died last night. I write about my team and develop a narrative in my head, so I simply want the PbP to tell me what's happening in that specific game, no fluff.
But that's just me.
