Jon Matlock got the ball again in his second attempt to pick up career win number 299. Matlock pitched well, allowing 3 runs in 8 innings while striking out 10 and walking 0.

Unfortunately our bullpen wasn't as effective as Steve Ontiveros blew a save and Andy Replogle blew the game and got the loss.

The Expos are 8-8 for the season in fourth place.
