Injury News: Augusto Rodriquez (Starting SS, .270-2-20), was pulled out of the game after getting slid into during a 4th inning double attempt. His foot seems pretty badly bruised and he will miss 1-2 weeks. We will place him on the 15-day DL. King Brock will be brought up and used as the DH, while Derek Campbell shifts from RF to SS and Jose Rodriquez shifts from DH to RF... I initially brought up Bryan O'Neill, then realized he wasn't the guy I wanted, so he has been DFA'd again. Pretty sure he isn't very happy right now, lol.
Around the League:- Bill Little of the Washington Senators, who is off to a hot start, is now out 5-6 weeks with a sprained thumb. The Senators will miss his .309-16-36 for the next month+.
- Andres Salinas the Dover Generals center fielder is out 4 weeks with shoulder sorness, which is hampering his throwing and hitting. He hopes for a quick return. .252-6-18
- Stan Miller, Georgetown Sixteens, left a game earlier this week with a sore back and he is expected to miss 2-3 weeks with they are saying is a herniated disc. .270-10-30
Milestone Watch:- Abraham Thomas, Washington Senators, inched closer to that 500 mark and now has 497.
- Angel Romero, Ocean City Tourists, is trying to beat him there with 495.
- Bill Moore is the only +500 RBI man and career leader now with 592 as he blew up last week.
- Looks like there are 4 more guys that should hit 500 this season. Gustavo Feliciano (480), Francisco Reyes (478), Alberto Trujillo (476) and Stan Miller (467).
- Roberto Perez now has 478 runs scored, 20 more than Kenny Lee, going after the first 500 run man.

GM Notes: Our legendary hitting coach Pablo Lopez has agreed to stay on for 3 more years. The only coach we don't have locked up is our pitching coach, still debating on what I want to do. He is only 'Decent' so I am not sure if that means we could do better with a better guy or if we should just stick it out. Werner Meade has been our PC for 4 seasons. Looking at the stats of our pitchers, we should probably bring him on longer. If he is up for it... Kent Davis is on fire, the bullpen, sans Ron Harris is pitching well. To dump Ron Harris or not is the question. I might be able to get a propsect and I have 2 or 3 guys in AAA that could probably do just as good. I have shopped him around, so he isn't very happy about that... I was worried about Jose Rodriquez after a sluggish start, but he has been wonderful ever since. He is now up to .266, and leads the team in HR's... I am just waiting for this hot streak to come to an end. Everything seems to be clicking right now, usually its just the O or the D, but right now its everything. Its been a fun ride thats for sure.
