I have tried playing games between separate leagues in the past and only the home teams results and stats show up while the visiting teams stats are no where too be found plus the win or lost doesn't register on the standings(for the visiting team).
Unless something has changed lately(update or new patch) as far as I know ,it can't be done.
This is between two leagues that aren't associations,but are in the same Universe(or World).
