as for date, as above Day after WS ends. Though I have not tried to release a player with a non vested Vesting option during playoff to see what would happen. ill try when I get that...
EDIT: note that if you release the player, they will be upset at you and not re-sign. If you decline the option I have not had this problem, if that makes a difference for you (ie you want to re-sign Cliff next year for way less money)
EDIT2: I don't have players with a mix of options. so not sure how that is handled (the Adam Lind type contracts)

Is that correct IRL? If it is then no problem. If not then it should be fixed.
