As Markus would say, it's your game play it your way. I play it the way I do because I want it to be hard. If you want to use commish mode, use it. Cheating implies you are hurting the game or someone else in some way. It's a single player game. There is no cheating. If you want to force a trade, make a stinky player into a great one, make your fan base more supportive, whatever then do it. It's your game!
But I think you'll find that once you take the challenge out of it is stops being fun. At least that is how it works for me. If I knew for absolute certain my team was going to win the championship this season I probably wouldn't even play.
