It's pretty easy. Be friendly, courteous and helpful. Helpful includes telling people there is a better place to post if they post in the wrong spot.

Honestly, if this thread was the first thing I saw here, I'm not sure I'd have stayed.

Something helpful might be a link in-game directing new players to the New To The Game? forum instead of here initially.
