1906 Preview
OSA thinks the Highlanders are the AL’s only good team. They may be right, though I think the league as a whole will put up more of a fight then this.
Can Noodles Hahn and Sam Crawford rebound from injuries ending their season’s early, and can the Pirates find their way back to the World Series? It’s a season of redemption in the NL.
Top Player
Jimmy Sheckard is a good ball player, a very good ball player, but baseball’s writers are wrong. He isn’t the best hitter in the league. Delahanty, whose, 282 hits shy of Cap Anson’s hits record is. Sheckard infact should probably be around #10.
Top Pitcher
Noodles Hahn looks healthy, and ready to get his Reds back to the Fall Classic. I’d obviously put Rube Waddell here, but the writers seem to dislike him. Waddell has been the class of the league for years.
