It is somewhat ironic that I have chosen to use canadian content as a username given the fact that I am against what it normally represents (as you may know being a fellow Canadian) that a certain percentage of broadcasting in radio or TV must be 'Canadian'. Normally, we wouldn't have had to endure all of those really bad Parachute Club songs back in the 80's if it wasn't for the CTRC and their 'Canadian Content' stipulations.  |
1980's? Don't forget about Glass Tiger, Honeymoon Suite, Flock of Seagulls, Loverboy etc...Yeccch! The problem with Can-Con is it overplays everyone to the point where you get bored even with good bands.
