I don't see what the big deal is with having an on/off for owner death. Realism isn't the issue for me. There are so many things that can be customized to be realistic or not realistic. Is it realistic that only owners die and no one else? It may not be a big issue for you but it is for some of me and some others. There are issues that don't concern me that much, but my answer isn't just ignore it. I'd prefer it implemented but if not, it won't impact on me playing OOTP.
