Notable Feats/News:
Cristo Cansecon, Chesapeake Blue Crabs, hit streak ended at 20 games.

Notable Injuries:
Roberto Villalobos, Ocean City Tourists, starting catcher will miss 4 weeks with shoulder soreness he sustained in a collision. .300-15-60
Jose Paredes, Ocean City Tourists, staring SS, is out the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. .299-3-17
Ex-Cavalier Geoffrey Bayles received bad news, he was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff and will miss at least 8 months. Bayles just returned about a month ago after a torn triceps shelved him during spring training.

GM Thoughts/Notes: It was nice to see Dalton Whitaker bounch back hopefully he will continue to throw the ball well, and Roberto Perez raised his average back over .300... Starting pitching has been hot, everyone is throwing well, just a few hiccups in the pen otherwise our pitching is solid. Still #1 in runs against, #1 in Starters ERA and #2 in bullpen ERA... Kent Davis continues to struggle, do I move him out of the leadoff slot or just let him work his way through? With a large lead its not imperative to make rash decisions so maybe I will just let him work his way through... I am hoping we can stay injury free and start a big playoff run. Its an exciting time in Norfolk as fan interest has never been higher. The time to win is now, with the expansion draft coming up next season things will be changing...
