So i went on to try some certain things out to see how the game re-acts.

I created a new guy for the next draft and gave him ratings that made him a generational talent (potential was like 16 or 17). However, considering that the filter is set with a max of 15 potential, there was no chance for me to draft him, even if i had the 1st overall (ended up with a pick in the 20s).

I tried to play around with the filters, but there was no way for me to find him in the list, just because his potential was too high. Then i took him down in ratings where he ended up with a potential of 6 or so and he was there.

To make things short, cant we just clear all filters?

I understand that i took it to the extreme with that example, but there might be other things that prevent one to see all available players.

Edit: Just played that a bit further. I took control of the team that drafted that guy and of course, he also doesnt show up in the roster. So should the max/min filters also apply to the max/min we can edit players?
