Alright - between March and April 5th, all the minor league contracts getting handed out were by *major* league teams.

Then on April 9th (which was the start of the Minor League's regular season), the minor league affiliates started handing out a bunch of minor league contracts to the scrubs that were still on the FA board.

On April 11th, the Major League Senators handed out two minor league contracts. Major League's regular season started on April 13th. It's possible these two contracts were split contracts - hard to know for sure as they were "purchased" by the big league club as soon as they were signed.

And then after that, all the minor league contracts handed out were from minor league teams.

So I dunno. Next time I start a season, I'll pay closer attention to this. But it seems as if the affiliates are occasionally acting independently of their parent team when signing players, specifically after the minor league regular season starts.

I also noticed that when a minor league affiliate releases a player, the release seems to show up in both the Major League transaction log AND the minor league transaction log.

So yeah, this area could definitely use a little clarification for OOTP15. Thanks!
