OK I did some more poking around out of curiosity and it seems to be a v13 issue based on my league history.

See below. The appearance of signing with minor league teams occurs during my use of v13 and goes back to normal with my switch to v14 for the 2064 season. I checked and the problem exists back to my switch from v12 to v13. It doesn't seem to exist in v12 but my player histories are corrupted so I can't be sure.

Very strange. I wonder if this is another patch related problem?
