Thanks for all the help and advice everybody. Here is what ended up happening:
He eventually accepted my contract offer, which was $175 million over 7 years, which works out to an average of $25 million. I made the offer a few real-time days ago, so I have forgot some of the details, one of them being the buyout amount.
