OOTP just plays an extra game because after having played 154/162 one more isn't really a burden. That's not necessarily true here.

I actually have given quite a bit of thought to it, but I'm still not 100% sure yet. I'm leaning towards implementing NFL style tie breakers and manually scheduling the playoff series, but I haven't done that yet. I've got a test league with three tie breakers after week 16, so that's on the agenda for tonight to play around and make sure I can get that to work.
If not I'll consider letting OOTP play out the tie-breakers, but make sure I manually reset the fatigue so everyone plays at full strength. So stay tuned, and wish me luck on that. That's the most difficult part I've encountered so far.
