Manny Pacquiao 156-15-3 (142) vs Rocky Lockridge 40-6-1 (28)
After a strong opening round from Rocky, Manny began connecting with searing left hands that had Lockridge' right eye badly swollen by the end of round four. Rocky forged inside at times and it led to violent rounds in the sixth, eighth and tenth, but around that the speed of the Pac man was too much and he battered Lockridge from pillar to post in the final round to punctuate the well earned UD. 116-111 x2 & 116-112
Azumah Nelson 44-2 (35) vs Diego Corrales 37-5-1 (30)
They met in the center of the ring at the opening bell and traded viciously until a right hand from Nelson floored Diego for a seven count, on wobbly legs Chico fought back with hooks but Azumah continued to land his right hand and a hook to the body followed by an overhand right put Diego down for the count late in round one.
(IBF) Alexis Arguello 81-6 (71) vs Gabriel Elorde 40-3 (22)
Elorde's speedy combos carried the first round and a half until a devastating uppercut from Arguello floored the Filipino late in round two and Alexis unloaded with precision combinations from the beginning of round three until a four punch salvo sent his mouthpiece flying and the ref rescued Elorde late in the third.
Ben Villaflor 23-0 (9) vs Alfredo Escalera 22-1 (16)
Alfredo's right hand was the dominant punch in the fight, Villaflor's speed advantage was nullified by the timing and power of Escalera's right hand and he staggered Ben several times and fought off his flurries en route to the upset UD. 119-110, 117-112 & 116-113
