My sim league, the HBL, has been around for 52 seasons. We started in 2000 (real-time). In the 52 seasons, we have never, not for one second, activated the coaching system (nor scouting system).

Today I activated the coaching system was was shocked to see that every team has coaches. Not a full compliment of coaches, but every team has some coaches whether it be Majors, AAA, AA, A or Rookie Ball.

These coaches have up to date contracts as if we'd been negotiating contracts this whole time. I don't get it. Why would there be coaches behind the scenes if coaching was turned off?

Did it effect anything?
