The 2016 Preseason Predictions are in and there really aren't any surprises... the Georgetown Sixteens are the favorite again to take the Southern Division title in a battle with the Lewes Braves. In the Northern Division the Wilmington Iron Pigs and the New Castle Colonials will battle... In my opinion this is the season that New Castle puts it all together. I see them coming out of the Northern Division. They have a lot of young talent and just haven't made it happen.

In the MarVa Conference the Chesapeake Blue Crabs are favored to win the Eastern and the Washington Senators are favored to win the Western. Both of these divisions should be tightly contested, but we will see. The biggest surprise I see in here is the Ocean City Tourists dropping to 10 games out. They should be more competitive.

My Predictions:
Northern: Lewes Braves
Southern: New Castle Colonials
Eastern: Chesapeake Admirls
Western: Norfolk Cavaliers

Its 162 game season, and a lot of things could happen. One reason I don't see the Sixteens winning the division is they lost their Ace Anthony Dundee for 6-7 months with shoulder inflammation. I just don't think they have the depth to make up for what he could bring.
