1) Yes, although if you start with the default rosters, players may or may not play as you expect due to the nature of OOTP's player development engine.

2) The game ships with MLB rosters as of Opening Day 2013.

3) See #2. The rosters are as of Opening Day 2013. I think the 2013 draft class is based on the real draft, but I don't really recall. Players are all rated by their performance up through 2012, so Puig may not be quite the dynamo he is IRL. That being said, Puig is in the game as a very highly rated prospect.

4) It depends on if you play pitch-by-pitch or not. I don't play pitch-by-pitch, and the games take 15-20 minutes or so. That will depend a bit on your PC set up, as well as how the games themselves play out. Pitch-by-pitch will take longer, but I couldn't say how much longer.

5) Due to licensing issues, they are not included. However, community-created content is available for download in-game through Add-On Central, as well as in the Mods forum.
