Does anyone know the frequency of this storyline?

Our online league just at 2 major prospects quit baseball for other sports -- one for football, one for golf -- within a single season.

This storyline isn't sitting that well with some of the members, so I'm just wondering if this is a very rare storyline that we randomly caught twice or what.
