I took some time this morning (I play for an hour or so while I have coffee and stream local news in the background) and looked at game logs for the last 20 games in my current season. I could do more but it is tedious and I don't think it is needed.

What I found was how infrequent hits to left are with runners on first or second. I found 5 plays with a runner on first and a double to left or left center. The runner held up at third 4 of those 5 times. I found several plays where a runner scored from first but in all cases the double was hit to center or right.

The runner scoring from second on a single to left scenario I found 4 plays and the runner held up 3 of the 4 times. Two of those times happened in one inning.

I personally am putting this one to bed cause I can't find any problem and I need my OOTP fix.
