Question is, would this lengthen the season too much and knock the off-season process out of balance? Also, would this provide a better challenge to weed out the pretenders in the post season and possibly provide better World Series matchups?
In my EBL vs MLB, MLB somehow switched to 7 games for the LDS (no wildcard round) without me seeing it. The World Series ended around November 5th. I also have this league associated with a fictional league and the Universal Series ended around November 12th. FA for both league started December 12th. Not sure if that answers your question.
