The way this thread sounds, it seems like everyone naturally assumes that Trout is going to the hall of fame and there's nothing that can stop it. Maybe those original projections were correct. Is it really so hard to believe that he will have injury problems and end up as a career .279 hitter? The game is littered with players that showed immense talent in the first few years of their career then drop to a mediocre player with injury trouble. I'm not saying it's going to happen to him, but I do think its a little early in his career to assume the original projections are wrong.
