Callups on teams out of the pennant race get a better look than a team fighting for a playoff spot, where they are relegated to pinch run/hit and long relief, as opposed to starting roles to see how they fare in the Bigs. Baseball is a day-to-day game. The Show does this so well that you can't wait to see what happens tomorrow. Games are not played on paper, but on the field, where anything and everything happens. That's probably why we all increase our enjoyment of sports by playing sports sims. We can't get enough of the anything and everything.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
