Buccos, if you are still able to contact Mr. Lamb, you could ask him what color eyes he has. The player identified as McKee has brown eyes and the player Merkle posted has blue eyes.
Nonetheless, I am going with Merkle on this one. That photo Lamb identifies as himself is a dead ringer for McKee in other pictures I have seen of him. Glasses, mutton chops, everything.
