OK, I started a new game as 1947 Red Wings. I signed a bunch of free agents. Now I'm at October 1st and it says "too many players on protected list". I can't release any of them ("allowed only in offseason"), I can't send them anywhere, and I just can't continue the game.
Is this the game? Are you kidding me? What did you do all this time? Why just not postpone the release date?
