This may be a rookie question and I think I've asked it a ton of times, neevr truly understanding the answers.

I want to be able to change my league's stats I guess. I'd like less home runs and doubles with a few more singles. I just want to make a league slightly more pitcher-centric. But I'm never quite sure how to do it correctly.

For the current league I want to make it would start out with only four teams and then I would add more over time. What settings, totals, modifiers, etc. do I adjust and how do I adjust them to get what I'm looking for?

Help appreciated. I've just never had a real grasp on playing with the stats my league produces so I usually leave it alone.
