ROSTER NEWS-I have placed a waiver claim in on 29 year old OF/1B Sam Keith. Good defender, can play 1B and runs exceptionally well, hits LH. With Jose Cruz struggling (.183/.264/.341) as bad as he is and a marginal defensive player, I need an upgrade. I will shop him but also have an option left if needed, if the claim goes through. Keith is a career .289/.334/.409 hitter in 369 games with 65 2B's 15 3B's 23 HR's and 87 SB's. He was a 4th round pick out of the University of Arizona in 2025 (Bisons)

ROSTER NEWS-Aaron Jones was optioned to AAA Wilmington following the game and 23 year old Jake Scott was recalled. Scott isn't tearing it up (3-0 4.97) but I need to find out what I have. Jesus Coztana and Trujillo were other options, and still may be. Scott will start tomorrow as it's his day.
