I was going to post along similar lines. (Note that one cannot change the matchups in a playoff series by editing the schedule, though you can change the home team for the game and when the games are played.)
Randomizing the matchups can be done now by the user right with just a few moments of effort. Roll some dice or use a random number generator to randomize how positions or seeds are matched up, then before the regular season starts use the playoffs customization feature to set up those position or seed matchups. Then prior to the next season starting, re-roll the dice to generate new random matchups, then customize the playoffs to match. Repeat for as many seasons as the user wants.
Because of the unusual nature of this request, and because it can be done now with a little work, I would not want to see it added as a direct feature. There are other more important playoff-related options that need to be worked on first (such as leagues using the split-season format).
