In the 4th inning Carlos hit a batter and had a fielding error, for the only blemishes during 5-0 win over the Milton Brewers. This is the first season with more than 1 no-hitter pitched.

George Waller, the Baltimore Barons 2-time all-star second baseman, the 26-year old is expected to miss the next 3 months with a partially torn labrum.

Power Rankings:

2) Chesapeake Blue Crabs (132.7)
3) Milford Clippers (125.1)
4) Norfolk Cavaliers (117.1)
5) Lewes Braves (113.0)

GM Thoughts/Notes: Our starting pitching wasn't as good as it has been, we just gave up way too many HR's, but it wasn't helped by our weak offensive showing. Hopefully this is just a cold spell and not what is going to be... Washington closed in on us a little bit, but I think they will be on our tail or with us all season long. Going to be a long battle... Sweetapple is starting to get more consistent. Last season he had a string of 8 or 9 wins in a row. We could see that coming again soon (hopefully)... Alder didn't get on base much this week, lost 40 points on his average, which would explain why he only had 1 SB. He is still on pace to break the record of 60 though... The team average dropped 10+ points this past week... Defense efficiency is up to .709. I will stay put with Soto at short for the time being... This will be BIG week for us, going up against the #3 team in the power rankings and our #1 Rival, all on the road.
