I set up two leagues, one with only lefties and one with only righties, each league has 2 divisions with 3 teams each.
My plan is to have each leagues' own ASG (with the teams being from the two divisions) midway through the season, like in the MLB, but have an ASG with the best of both leagues.
I figured I could create 2 teams that don't play any games, and then when the time comes, add all of the deserving players to the teams using the player editor. Then I would schedule an exhibition game and simulate it. (I don't play anything out.) After that, I would edit the players' histories to show they played. Is there not an easier way to do this?
My worries are with contracts and such. If I move a player to another team, just for a day, what will that cause financially for the players' real teams and the All-Star teams?
I'm sorry if this sounds confusing to anyone, but any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I am running OOTP8 so anything dealing with "associations" that I've seen mentioned on the boards will not work.
