Players injured during a playoff series could be replaced starting in 2007 in MLB. Such replacement is limited to a pitcher replacing a pitcher or a position player replacing a position player. The injured player must miss the remainder of the current series and all of the next before he can returned to the lineup.
Note that OOTP does not recreate this rule.
