I am fortunate, in my opinion, that my dad and my uncles are all diehard sports fans. While my family is split between the Sox and Cubs, we are all Bears, Bulls, ND & Hawks fans. NIU has crept in a lil bit since many of my family has gone there, but ND comes 1st.
Well then it doesnt matter what the record was because you would have became a fan of those teams regardless. But your trying to say that i should be a cowboys or oilers fan because thats were i grew up. Otherwise i just picked a team for the record. But i keep telling you i picked the raiders because everybody was cowboys fans and i wanted something different and liked the raiders when i was able to see highlights of them. Super Bowl X was the first one i saw and knew what it was about. I could have easily chose Pittsburgh. Just because the sox may not have been good and you forced yourself to become a fan doesnt mean everyone else has to do the same. I KNOW why i became a fan of the raiders. 85-77 isnt exactly horrible. The Sox could have easily gone either way.
