It's not complaining ... its pointing out that a small tweak turning down home advantage is not enough to represent the realities of hockey.
Good teams (the top half of the league) don't just have dominate home records, they also tend to dominate on the road. Not just play 500 hockey,which given the current imbalance in Home vs Away is what a small tweak would accomplish. Also a small tweak balancing Home vs Away would also potentially mean less of a winning record at home. Home games seem to currently be on par with what one would expect in a season.
We're simply expressing our opinion that it's a bigger tweak that is needed, not just a small nudge. What needs to happen is making it easier to win on the road without effecting any advantage a dominate club currently has at home.
