I posted this in the bug forum as well but figured I'd post here to see if anyone has a solution.

I'm playing in windowed mode. If I change to fullscreen in game, it switches fine. Facegens don't load but I think that's because I changed the resolution. So I exit the game and reopen it. It gets to the loading title screen, loads longer than usual, than crashes. Crashes so bad that it logs me off and closes all other programs. When I load OOTP again it gives me a message saying the error flag has been set and loads the game in the default windows 1024 x 720 resolution.

I'm a Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit. Updated to 14.5 patch but it happened on the last patch too.
