If he's unhappy but still productive, keep playing him. Why not? It can't be from lack of playing time. If it's something else, you should try to correct the matter if you can because it's well known that unhappiness will affect a player's development and production. It may be cumulative and you may not see 35 homers from him in the future if he stays down in the dumps.
